SOAR Program
The SOAR (Staff Opportunities to Accelerate Readiness) Program is a newly formed program within the College of Engineering. SOAR is focused to enhance professional development of Georgia Tech staff through enrichment, education, and empowerment. The program will provide you with the ability to obtain skills for your desired career path. We want to promote growth from entry- to high-level positions in academia and value longevity with staff at Georgia Tech. The program consists of 12 monthly, 90-minute meetings.

Learning and Development
ASPIRE – Using the foundations of a leadership mindset and the Competing Values Framework of organizations, ASPIRE challenges aspiring leaders to cultivate a leadership mindset and learn to lead from where they are.
MentorTech – Strategically designed to foster the professional development and career growth of Georgia Tech employees, MentorTech seeks to build diverse networks across the Institute — no matter your age or skill level.
Professional Development Circles – Designed as small, organized groups of people leaders, Professional Development Circles draw together faculty and staff from all levels of the Institute for collaborative problem solving, encouragement, connection building, and leadership fluency.

Georgia Tech’s Campus Learning and Development Directory features a mixture of traditional training, professional development programs, group activities for physical and mental health, opportunities to explore creativity, and exhibits and seminars.
