History

Resulting from conversations at the 2017 Staff Engagement Day, Dean McLaughlin established the first-ever College of Engineering Staff Culture Advisory Council. The council is comprised of one staff representative from each of the eight Schools, as well as the Dean’s Office. The group is formed by nominations from the school chairs.

The council meets monthly to solidify action steps targeted toward improving areas of need identified at the Staff Engagement Day, as well as in conversations within the Schools. Council members work closely with School Chairs and the Office of Strategic Consulting to develop professional development initiatives, recognition programs, and increased opportunities for CoE staff members.

In the meantime, you can contact the council at coescac@coe.gatech.edu, or reach out directly to your unit’s representative.
